  • Working Well: Support to Succeed aims to help economically inactive Greater Manchester residents aged 19 and over into employment, with a dedicated offer for residents aged over 50.
  • The Working Well: Support to Succeed team are encouraging people to donate to their Big Food Drop between 22nd and 25th April.
  • Items can be dropped off at the reception area at Lee House, 90 Great Bridgewater Street, in Manchester.

In 2022/23, food banks in the UK had nearly 3 million users. This figure represents a 50 percent increase on five years ago, with the North West having the third highest food bank usage in the UK (source: The Trussell Trust).

Due to the increase in food bank usage, the Working Well: Support to Succeed team are coordinating a food drop to collect and distribute food to those who need it most. Donations will be distributed across various locations in Manchester.

We encourage you to bring in anything that you can to support those in need.

What: please bring in any non-perishable food, canned food, dry pantry items, or toiletries to donate. Specific items food banks have requested are:

  • Coffee
  • Tuna
  • Washing up liquid
  • Corned beef
  • Curry sauces
  • Washing tablets/powder
  • Shampoo – own brands offer best value for money
  • Tinned meat/stew

When: Monday 22nd, Tuesday 23rd, Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th April

Where: Items can be dropped off in the box in the reception area at Lee House, 90 Great Bridgewater Street, M1 5JW
